Spark of Light in Pudding Lane

Only 6 people died in the Great Fire of London. There was a person called Samuel Pepys who wrote about the great fire in London. When the great fire of London happened, it was 1666. The fire was so huge everyone ran out of London with their most valuable things. Samuel Pepys hid has favourite cheese in a deep hole in his back garden. The cheese was smelly but really good.

The fire started on a road called Pudding Lane. The baker forgot to put out the fire and then it spread to all the different buildings in London. The fire brigade tried to put out the fire but it took a whole week for it to go away. Everyone went to the country and used their blankets and sticks they could find to build dens and tents.
